The video “Protecting Our Health and Safety in Construction Work” offers an overview of the different health and safety hazards being encountered at construction workplaces. Throughout the video, Hispanic construction workers talk about the different hazards they face at work and also about the impact of on-the-job injuries and illnesses on their health and satisfaction. This 16-minute video is recommended to be shown at the beginning of the OSHA 10-hr training session. It is expected that the inclusion of the video might cause a stimulating effect on workers towards how critical is to have a safe workplace and be aware of the various safety hazards in construction work.
